Meriwest Credit Union Hardship Assistance Team

Meriwest Credit Union's Hardship Assistance Team ("HAT") is available to provide assistance to members who are experiencing financial difficulty with their Meriwest consumer and real estate loans and wish to avoid foreclosure. We will make every effort to assist you with your loan and avoid foreclosure, including arranging a loan modification.

For assistance, please call:

  • First Mortgage Loans: Meriwest Mortgage at 800-364-6636, Option 2
  • All other Real Estate Loans: Meriwest HAT at 877-MERIWEST (877-637-4937) Ext 3403

*ForeclosureHelp is a City of San José Housing Department program. The program is designed to provide information and referral services to assist families impacted by foreclosure and to help them navigate through the foreclosure process. Services are provided to San José Metropolitan area residents and include prevention, intervention and family re-stabilization. This is a NO fees for services organization.
